Assessment

In an assessment, we will think together about your child’s needs and their context. We will discuss your home and family circumstances, their developmental history, school and education, and explore your current concerns.

You maybe invited to a family appointment and your child maybe offered some individual meetings.

The purpose of this process is to reach an understanding of the difficulties that you and your child are experiencing and together we can develop a plan to resolve them.

You will be given an idea of the sort of treatment that can be offered and the number of sessions you may need.
